Status uses each anonymous browser's latest report within 60 minutes. Three or more reporting sessions show “Outage reported”; fewer remain unconfirmed. Conflicting reports show “Mixed reports”. Reports are not verified households. A restoration report applies only to that reporter; an area can still have outages. Reports older than 60 minutes become unconfirmed by time, never automatically restored. Map points represent area centres, not homes or electricity network boundaries.
To reduce spam, an outage also needs reports from at least three separate connections before it is corroborated. Multiple browsers on a shared connection can report, but may remain unconfirmed. Anonymous reports cannot prove that an outage is genuine.
